My Journey
I started my career as a Chartered Accountant and went on to scale a publishing business to a successful exit, after which I chose to invest in myself in the self-development and growth space.
I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF), a Certified Integral Coach® from New Ventures West in San Francisco and I hold a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology.
I have taught at SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) as a Professor of Science of Spirituality, helping management students become more self-aware and reflective. I was also a senior consultant with SPJIMR in their Centre for Wisdom in Leadership. Currently, I am a visiting faculty at SPJIMR.
I have been a student of Vedanta and Vedic chanting for several years. Being a student of the Bhagavad Geeta and the Upanishads is my investment in my own growth towards clarity and simplicity in this complex and interconnected world. I continue to marvel at how western scientific research is discovering truths about human motivation, which were propounded centuries ago.
My Coaching Work
Over the past decade I have had the opportunity to work with organisations and individuals from different age groups and at various stages of life. These include young entrepreneurs, experienced managers, unsure executives, hesitant women, and leaders seeking clarity.
Prominent life coaching areas have been:
- Developing inner resources
- Being courageous and confident
- Becoming comfortable with drawing boundaries
- Facilitating ease in relationships
- Getting better at delegation / planning
- Increasing awareness, focus and effectiveness
- Navigating one’s self-critic or inner dialogue
- Nurturing a creative spirit
- Adapting to life / career transitions
- Learning to say “Yes” to life
If you hear a voice within you saying, ‘you are not a painter,’ then by all means paint, boy, and that voice will be silenced.
